This event happened on a beautiful sunny day about 12:30 in the afternoon. I assessed the situation and decided to use a 7 iron on a 149 yard par three hole. My three other friends had just finished their shots and were waiting for me to shoot. The shot was perfect. It landed in front of the hole about 10 ft and I guess rolle into the cup from there.

This hole had an elevated tee and a pond in front of it so the ball had to carry all the way to the green in the air to be safe. At first, I thought it was hidden from view by the pin,and I started to the cart. But, two of the guys said it went in and I had a hole in one. Not believing them I rush to the green and saw my Titleist ball sitting petty in the bottom of the cup.

The celebration started in the club house with free beer for everyone for the next two hours. My wife and her foursome finished their game about one hour after I did and was informed of the event and joined the celebration.

Her friends had to endure a five second dance in the club house without music with me. But, they seemed to enjoy the celebration.

This is my second hole in one. The first was Sept.4,1999.
