The West Coast Swing continues this week as PGA Tour heads to the Monterey Peninsula for the 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. This event is known for its light-hearted atmosphere, dramatic seaside courses and unique format, with Tour players, CEOs and celebrities from the sports and entertainment world teaming up to compete for Pro-Am title.
And once again at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Titleist is the golf ball of choice. A total of 108 players are trusting a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than six times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.
Of these 108 Titleist golf ball players, nearly half have already made the switch to the new 2017 Pro V1 and Pro V1x models, which were introduced to the public two weeks ago (learn more here). A total of 17 players are relying on the New 2017 Pro V1 this week at Pebble Beach and 30 are trusting their games to the New 2017 Pro V1x.
Titleist is also the top choice in the hybrid (30) and irons (44) categories. Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (198) category and Scotty Cameron putters were the top choice in the putter (70) category.

FAST FACTS:
- Prominent amateur golfers Jack Neville and Douglas Grant designed Pebble Beach Golf links, which opened in 1919. Changes to the layout over the years have included the conversion of the 18th hole to a par-5 and the creation of a new hole at No. 5 in 1998.
- The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am uses three iconic courses, Pebble Beach Golf Links (Par 72 / 6,828-yards), Monterrey Peninsula Country Club (Par 72 / 6,873 yards) and Spyglass Hill Golf Club (Par 72 / 6,960 yards).
- Pebble Beach Golf Links has hosted one PGA Championship and five U.S. Opens, with a sixth Open scheduled for 2019.
- The defending champion this week is Titleist golf ball loyalist Vaughn Taylor (Pro V1), who was the first alternate at the 2016 event and hadn’t won a PGA Tour title since 2005. Taylor overcame a six-shot deficit on Sunday, firing a 7-under-par 65 that included four birdies in a row as he came down the closing stretch. The win marked Vaughn’s third career PGA Tour victory.
