I have been using the old faithfull DCI 990's 3-PW DG S300 for about 7-8 years now. I play about 40 rounds per year to a 7-8 handicapp, great clubs and don't want to give up these irons (i have had the shafts spined, and lie adjusted 1 degree up with my 3-4,PW irons bent 1 degree strong) what are you thoughts on shafts wearing out. Is this a non concern or if i plan on using them for a few more seasons should i look at replacing the shafts? I would love to get into a set of 710CB's but not in the cards at this time. Any thoughts??

    Hello Mike S,

While Steel Shafts will fatigue over time depending on the type of player, amount of use, storage conditions and overall age...Based on the information you've included, your shafts should be completely fine for the next several years.

If you're interested in the 710 CB's, you may want to hold out for a few months anyways for when we launch the 712 CB's in mid-November. There is plenty of content in our blog section about them if you want to learn more.

    Hope this helps.

thats great. do you have specs (head, shaft) on the 904F 17 degree 4 wood with a speeder stiff shaft? can;t find anything on your vintage clubs section. i just bought this from clubfinder. also with regards to shafts. i hit my 3-4 irons great for distance 3 iron around 225-230 and 4 iron 215.... the only thing i would like to see is a little higher ball flight to get some softer landing with these two clubs. any thoughts on what shaft may help me out with this little issue. again they are DG S300

Regarding your irons.  That's a tough question to accurately answer without seeing your swing/ball flight etc.  Our best suggestion would be to visit a Titleist Authorized Fitter who could look at your swing, measure your flight and give their recommendation.  That way you will have confidence that the equipment you're using is fit accurately to your needs.

Ok that would be great. The problem is I am pei and proper club fitting is limited to the Canadian golf academy based out of fox meadows golf course and I actually called them and they closed last Friday!!! Not open until may next year!! It's quite disappointing for hard core golfers in this province?? Any suggestions where I can go or how I could contact a fitter. Thanks for all your help!!!
