I originally made the switch from Staff Fluid Feels which I had played for the previous decade, I loved the soft feel of them but I was losing distance to a friend who had just gone to the DCI's. I tried his and hit his seven iron 185 yards instead of the 160 I hit with the staffs. I bought a set of 962's that week. Fast forward to today, and my Titleist bag is full of nothing but Titleist, but the reason I have stayed with it and embraced it further is Titleist is focussed on players. There are two kinds of companies, those that find a price point and backwards engineer their product until its cheap enough to market at that sale price; thats the kind to avoid. Titleist is the kind of company that looks at the purpose and application of the product, than design and build it to perform as it is expected to, once they are finished they tally it up and come to the price they can sell it for. I wish they were less expensive, but not at the expense of the quality they provide. Keep up the good work!

I've always felt that the 'Ladder of Opportunity' with Titleist was quite clear. I knew which clubs in which categories were slanted towards my (at the time) abilities. The continued visual look and similar feel of the clubs over the history also made choices easy when the time came to replace my equipment.

Most of all though, the network of fitters that I have had dealings with are second to none. The frontline retailers and professionals that carry the brand and made sure that my selections and choices were best for me exemplifies the brand marque for me.

In short, I know what I get when I pick up a Titleist product, and I know what quality knowledge is imparted by the independent retailers that help me when I do.

Titleist is a company that always brings a better product to the table. As you know Brad most of my new equipment is bought before I even test it because I know it's going to work. They listen to the guys on tour and their supporters as to what they want to see and think would benefit from. They also give their guys like Scotty and Voke a lot of freedom to come up with the best tools for the game, classic looks and shapes for all of the products makes it very easy to put their equipment in play. They don't believe in always being the first to market with a certain technology, they make sure it is proven on many levels and refined before it hits the shelf. With the new higher lofted/slower swing speed heads coming out this year along with the 83+ driver shaft options and numerous other custom options they have clubs for everyone which makes it very easy for me as a fitter to get anyone into their product. Always friendly customer service and discussion forums like these also make the company stand out above the rest.
