Hi, just wondering if any one has bought a Titleist golf bag off ebay from Japan? Some of these bags are really nice looking but I was wondering about quality. If any one has info pls send info!
Jake Scalgary, AB
My understanding is that the majority sold on eBay are fakes. Although some report the quality is decent, it's not worth supporting the fraudsters who produce them.

I'd have to agree with Jake above. Usually anything I've come across on EBay that has Japan included is usually counterfeit. Your best bet would be to purchase from an authorized Titleist dealer. I picked up the 2013 Lightweight Bag online through a reputable Titleist dealer online and got a great deal. I've posted a picture of it in a previous topic. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
Cheers Shawn
Thanks Guys! It would be nice if Titleist might look at and actually make a bag that is appealing to younger consumers. I love the brand and do believe Titleist produces the best equipment in the game. They need something though, some kind of excitment!

Hi Thomas D,Thank you for the feedback.Based on our experiences, Titleist bags seem to be very popular with serious golfers both young and old. However, we're always looking to improve so perhaps you could provide some additional detail on what you mean by 'a bag that is appealing to younger consumers?' ie. Is it Design? Colours? Look? Feel? Performance? etc.
We love to learn as much as possible from our loyal brand fans so look forward to reading your thoughts. All the best,Mitch DTeam Titleist Canada

I have a friend that got a bag from Japan. You could tell it was a knock-off right out of the box. Another friend bought a set of AP2's on ebay only to have 2 shafts break on contact and were rusted out on the inside! The heads were brand new and bought from China - definitely knock-offs but at the same time, looking at them you couldn't tell. I've also seen Cameron putters from China and to the average Joe they look legit, however to a seasoned Titleist/Cameron fan the forgery stands out quickly. Buy from a pro or golf town to ensure you're getting the real deal!!!!
