I hit the ball extremely long for my age. I am 14 years old. Regardless of my 13 handicap, I hit my current irons (miz mx-23 cavity backs) in the center of the face about 90% of the time. The reason for my high handicap is my pitching and putting. (Plan to zero in on that this season) I like to work the ball with my irons a lot so I was thinking that an MB and CB combo set would fit me. What do you think, should I go for it. Also note that I have already hit both sets in the store, VERY WELL.

    Hi Christian,
We are seeing combo sets become fairly popular both on tour and in the marketplace.  If that is the set up you feel most comfortable with and you think will perform the best for your game then it is probably the best one to go with.  We definitely wouldn't suggest sticking with one iron model for the sake of only carrying one iron model if carrying a combo helps you lower your score.

That being said, do make sure you try AP2's as they will provide additional forgiveness and still allow you to work the ball with nice feel.  Some of the world's best ball strikers play AP2's out on tour.  eg. Steve Stricker, Jason Dufner, Webb Simpson.

Our best suggestion would be to visit a Titleist Authorized Fitter to see what they fit you into.  You can find one here: http://www.titleist.com/find-a-golf-shop/

    All the best,
