Driver Loft Spec Tolerance

  1. I recently went for a driver fitting and was fairly surprised to find out my 910 D2 9.5 actually has a loft of 10.8 when in the standard position.  This is far from ideal since lower lofted drivers turn out to be better for my swing and this really limits my options.

Is this a fairly standard problem?  If so, is there anything that Titleist offers in the way of a trade in program to try and get people the clubheads they thought they were buying?

Titleist is actually one of the best in the industry in making their heads as true to loft as possible... Some compagnies standards are actually 2-3* off on average...

I doubt they offer a program considering the trend from the other brands but you never know!

  3. Yeah I did some research after posting and it appears this is a fairly common program like you said.  Still kind of surprising though for such an expensive product to have this much variance in it!
