  1. Hi there,

I'm looking to purchase a couple 913 fairways and a 913 Hybrid but first I have a question regarding the swing weight kit. first off I would like all 3 clubs to arrive at a D2 swing weight but I have a feeling with what I propose this may not be possible even with the weight kit that is available. Let me explain further: I'm planning to order all 3 clubs at 1" minus standard length (this will reduce the swing weight by roughly 6 points) and then I need heavier midsize grips (reducing the swing weight by another 2 points, they are 10 grams heavier then standard grips). Making a total swing weight reduction of 8. Now according to the majority of most club makers if I reduce the swing weight by 8 I will need to add roughly 16 grams of weight in the club head (2 grams of weight in the head = 1 swing weight).  According to what I've read online, the standard 913 club comes with a 9 gram weight installed. If my math is correct, this means I need to add 16 grams (as explained above) + the 9 grams already installed for a total of 25 grams to make the desired D2 swing weight.  According to the web site the largest weight in your kit is 14 grams. My question is: How will you be able to keep all 3 clubs at a D2 swing weight with the largest swing weight at 14 grams or am I correct in thinking this can not be done ?

    Thank you for your reply,

    Sincerely,

    Mike
