Reshafting 905R

    Hi Guys,

    I have a 905R Driver that I absolutely love. Anyway last fall I sent it in to be re-shafted but was told you no longer stock Graphite Design YS6 Stiff shafts so instead tried the diamana s blue 62 which I didn't really like as much. I found a 3rd party that sells the GD YS6 shaft, can I send the driver in with the ys6 shaft i purchase to be reshafted? I'm really hoping I can, I can't tell you how much my game is suffering from the loss of the best driver I've ever had, and I've tried a ton since and nothing quite compares to the 905R with the GD YS-6

    Hi Gareth,
    Unfortunately, we do not accept components from third party suppliers for placement on Titleist products.  The reason being is that these shafts do not go through our quality control measures and we cannot verify their origins.  We only put components on our products that have been approved by our Research and Development team and come direct from the shaft vendor.

    The alternative could be taking it to a trusted golf shop/retailer with a custom shop.

    We're sorry that we cannot be of more help with this.

    Hi Mitch I was wondering if you can refinish irons. My 7 iron I guess hit a stone and chipped the finish and rust is coming through. I just got them last year. Thanks Steve H.

    Hi Mitch, thanks for the prompt response. So I see that graphite design is still listed as a shaft supplier for Titleist and the GD YS-6 is an option for the newer drivers listed as exotic up-charge. I will pay extra for Titleist to order and install that shaft for me. Sincerely, Gareth

    That is definitely an option.  To do so, you can bring the driver to a Titleist Authorized Retailer who can provide you with pricing and set everything up to have the driver shipped to us.  If your or they have any questions, please invite them to call us on your behalf at 877.928.8898.
