    Hello,

I have a question about the loft/purchase of a  titleist 913 h (hybrid)...first I would like to post my current clubs to aid with the question

    Clubs:

    Driver - Titleist 910D

    3 Wood - TM RBZ Stage 2

    Hybrids (18,21) - png Rapture

    Irons - Titleist AP2 712 (4-Gap)

    Wedges - Cleveland CG14 (56, 60)

Putter - Odyssey White Hot Tour

I therefore have 15 clubs currently in my bag and I am looking to replace two of my hybrids (because they are regular shafts and I needs stiff) for 1 titleist hybrid (to make 14 clubs) but I am unsure of the loft type I should choose?

I was thinking I should choose the 19 degree hybrid as that would fit in between the 18 and 21 degree hybrid that I currently have.  Also, I would be able to adjust the loft of the hybrid to make it closer to a 21 or lower to 18 correct?  Just wondering what I should do to eliminate a club but still allow the proper gaping between my set.   I do find I need all 4 wedges so eliminating one of them for an extra hybrid would not work for me.  Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

    Hi Justin,

I compeltely understand your desire to stick with the 4 wedges... they're your scoring clubs.  I would far rather have unequal gapping at the long end than at close range.

Your decision might also be influenced by the course you play most often.  Do you need a club for a specific yardage (like a long par 3?)  If so, then you may be targetting a specific yardage.  If you're a nomadic golfer (like me), then you're looking more for consistent yardage gaps between clubs.

My advice to you would be to start by bring your 4i and your 3W to a local golf store that has a launch monitor, and figure out what your diatances are with those two clubs (as recorded by that machine), then find the right loft 913H to fit in the middle.

    Regards,
