  1. some of the Crome finish has worn off the bottom of my SM5 sand wedge and I was wondering if it's possible to send it back to titilest  and have it re- cromed . It's not affecting the performance but has started to rust we're finish is off and does not look good.Is it cost effective to have it repaired or cheaper to buy a new one.

If it is just a bit of rust and as you said - it is not affecting the performance, I would keep it in the bag as is. The club now has character :)

I have a few nicks in some of my clubs and can recall exactly which shot I made to get them. Kind of like battle scars.

    Murray,

this will tend to happen with your bunker club especially if you play and practice a lot. This is why most your pros get new wedges a couple of times a year. These are your scoring clubs and if you play more than 75-100 rounds a year and practice you should also be changing wedges at least every year. Not worth refinishing almost cheaper just to get a new wedge
