Hey Everyone. I have an older monterey putter I was thinking of sending back to Scotty for an overhaul. Has anyone used this service before? If so were you happy with the finished product for the cost? Thanks Stu
Hi Stu,
I have never gone to Scotty Cameron to restore a putter, however, I did purchase my Scotty Cameron putter and had the manufacturer send it straight to the shop for custom work. Their timelines are fairly accurate, definitely will take longer to get back when the next season is about to begin, as most are getting the work done at the same time.
By sending your putter to Scotty Cam, you get the priveledge of purchasing other Cameron accessories and alike.
If you really love your putter, you may choose to customize it and get it certified. You will receive a certificate of authenticity.
I did that with my putter: Scotty Cameron Newport II A018628
Best $750 I spent!

Hey Stu,
I sent back my Circa 62 for a complete overhaul. Scotty put a new grip on the putter, plus refinnished the head. They did an amazing job and I felt the cost was fair. It took a bit of time to get back, but I just did it during the offseason so it was no big deal. If you plan to use the putter for years to come, I think it is totally worth the money.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the info guys. I will send it back for sure. Thanks Stu.
