I will make the statement as soo many associate titleist as the best ball in golf ( which they are).  But not enough amateur and rec golfers realize that titleist produces the best performing, best looking and best feeling drivers in golf .

Granted this is only my opinion, I have used the 975d, 975j, 983e, 905r, and now the 910d3 and would give anything to get my hands on the new 915 if my budget allows lol.

I'm curious of your opinions on titleist drivers ( your favs, the ones you may not have preferred and just overall feedback )

Hey Mike...  I was a die hard user of TM drivers for years and never thought I would change. Partly due to the fact that I always thought I was not good enough to play Titleist products (other than the ball) and partly due to the fact that my budget at the time kept me from purchasing anything but items at the golf shops that were being cleared out because new lines were coming out. We have to admit - TM seems to come out with new drivers in what appears to be two or three times every year.

I took the leap one year and went to Eagles Nest for a fitting for a new driver and purchased a 913 D2.

My impression is that this is by far the best driver I have ever purchased. Now - will the 915 be better? Cannot say - but after my fitting and the purchase of the 913 D2, my drives have a much better trajectory, the spin rate off the face is definitely much lower as my odd power fade is still in control, and I have to say that although I may have given up a couple of yards (likely just perception) my dispersion rate is consistently much tighter than I ever had with my previous drivers. I often hit long drives with my old TM driver, but I also had a hard time keeping it in play at our course which has very tight driving holes.

I love the feel of the driver and have confidence standing over the ball when an accurate tee shot is required. The success with the driver got me to go for a fitting and replace my rescue with a 913F. So glad I did... It certainly plays better than my old rescue (TM16degree from 8 years ago). Once again - I place part of the success to the club design and part of it to the fact that I got fitted for the proper shaft / head combo. I don't think I will ever buy another club off the rack again. "except if a great bargain comes my way that is :-)  "

    Darius
