    Hi Mitch,

    I am wondering if you can please shed some light on the following question for me (and by extension others interested in the same topics):

    1) 716 T-MB Irons --- Originally, the information that was sent out to us was that the fitting tools would be available at the various fitting centres before Christmas. I have been checking in with our fitting representative at the Titleist Regional Fitting Centre at Northview and they still have not received their fitting tools for the T-MB irons (the 2-5 irons). I also understand that they have a waiting list for when the tools do arrive, but they still have not received any information as to when they will be delivered to them.

    Would you please inquire with your Titleist Canada counterparts to find out when these fitting tools will be delivered?

    Out here on the west coast, we have been able to play golf 12 months of the year (for the most part) and these seem to be fairly well discussed clubs with some good interest in them.

    2) SM6's -- I have seen elsewhere that others have been placing orders for the new wedges. I am hoping to confirm that the fitters will have the tools for these by Early March so that we can start getting fitted for these and placing our orders in advance?

    Thanks in advance Mitch for looking into this. As I'm sure that you can appreciate as a Titleist brand enthusiast, I am quite eager to get some of these clubs into my bag. I know that our regional fitting representative has had a fair number of enquiries for these clubs too -- so it looks very promising.

    Thanks for the comment. It's great that you're eager for the new product! We wouldn't want it any other way.

    T-MB arrived at Northview on Feb 16th.
    Vokey SM6 Wedges should arrive in early March. You can learn more about SM6 Wedges here- www.titleist.ca/.../sm6.

    Hey Mitch, I pre-ordered my 716 AP2s in the fall after going to eagles nest and got them right after they launched.
    Will there be pre- ordering of the SM6s????

    I am also eager to test out the SM6 as well as the T-MB 3 & 4 irons in the montreal area. Hope to see them soon! Hope the snow goes fast too!

    I was at the Regional Fitting Centre this week past and we encountered a bit of a difficulty with the fitting process. It seems that all of the T-MBs that were sent out to the fitting centre came equipped with only Stiff Shafts, whether it be the DG-AMT shafts to the C-Taper Shafts and all in between.

    In speaking with the Fitter, we discussed the need to try these out with a Regular Flex shaft. As I am apparently not the only one scheduled for fittings with these clubs that will be considering the Regular flex shafts, it leads me to the question to you:

    Can Titleist supply some sample testing clubs with a regular flex shaft option. In particular, we are interested in the DG AMT R300 shafts and the KBS Tour R-Flex.

    It was my understanding that this was possible, but perhaps I am mistaken.
    Any feedback on this would be very appreciated Mitch! Much thanks in advance.

    Hi Douglas,
    Thanks for your note. This should answer both your most, and original question(s) from this thread.

    1)Our club fitting matrix is built based on both historic spec/build combos along with our future expectations of spec/build combos. Since T-MB irons are targeted to a fairly small and specialized type of golfer, we do not typically expect such golfers to require Reg flex shafts on a regular basis.

    With that said, we're here to help.
    We are placing an order for RH TMB 4 w/AMT R300 and RH TMB 5 w/XP 90 Reg which will be shipping to the Titleist Regional Fitting Centre at Northview allowing you to test accordingly. Please follow up with Kathy at the Fitting Centre in the next 7-10 business days when the shipment is expected to arrive. She is aware of it.

    2) We are hoping to have SM6 wedges to Northview for fitting purposes by late next week. Perhaps you can check in with Kathy on the TMB reg shafts and SM6's at the same time in 7-10 business days.
