Organizing a TT Event in Vancouver Area

    Hi everyone,

    I'm adding a new post/discussion in order to get this back to the top of the Canada section.

    As Spring is rapidly approaching BC's lower mainland/west coast, I'm hoping that other TT members in or around the area will indicate their interest in an informal gathering of TT members for a round of golf.

    I'm thinking that we can plan for the end of March/Beginning of April. Peter/Yantropov ... will that work for you two?

    I know JMT is from the area and maybe he might like to join in as well.

    Let's try and connect offline and discuss more and then we can try and come up with a date to share with everyone here?

    I tried to use the friend request function but it is not working unfortunately.

    Hi Peter ... my pleasure. I am hoping Yannick will respond too as will others in the greater Vancouver area like JMT in Richmond.

    I'm thinking that we should make everyone aware that it is not a competition but rather a nice social outing of golf -- meeting up with others on the board here and getting to know a "face" to a "user name", etc.

    I see the upside being that we can start to "grow" the Team Titleist "brand" in our area and give it some greater profile, invite some non-Titleist players to join us and perhaps get them into TT, etc.

    Peter ... are you able to send me a "friend" request so that I can correspond with you off the boards?

    I keep checking but I have not received the request yet. I suspect that there may still be a few glitches with the new website that need to be sorted. I will keep looking.

    Dino, Peter and other Team Titleist Members in BC,
    I have some great news!
    Plans are still developing so please forgive me for the limited details.
    However, we are planning multiple Titleist exclusive public demo events in your area starting mid April at Mayfair Lakes. We'll select a certain day of the week (likely Wed or Thurs) and have our clubs and a Titleist expert on the range that day for 4 weeks in a row.
    These events will be open to the public but we will be sending email invitations to Team Titleist Members who reside on BC in the weeks prior to the events.
    Titleist Metals, Irons, Wedges (and potentially putters) will be available to try and a TrackMan will be set up as well.
    The events will take place in the early evenings each week.
    More details to come, but I wanted to let you know as you plan your get together. Perhaps you can plan it around one of these events! ; )

    Mitch - that's great news! We usually have very nice April weather so that should be a bonus too.

    Now Mitch, if we can get this "friend request" function working it would help us in communicating off the boards. : - ).

    Any updates on a finalized demo days for Mayfair Lakes? Also, I am wondering, will the FJ Fitting van be making any appearances out this way? Thanks again!
