  1. I had quite a fun day yesterday. Hubby and I went to Golftown as my driver needed to be sent in the Titleist. It has a problem that needs to be diagnosed (other than me...haha!)

While there I ordered my last wedge so that I will have it to start the new season in the spring....SM6 58.12 K grind, one degree flat with a Kuro Kage TiNi50 shaft. Can't wait!!!

Then before we left the club builder and one of the fitters asked me what ball I used. I told them I used ProV1's in the summer and Velocity in cool weather. They asked if I would like to try an experiment in the launch monitor.....I was given a certain ball (to remain un-named) and told to hit a wedge shot (56*) to the green with it. That particular ball did not stick well; it hit the green and had a lot of roll out. My spin with that ball ranged in the mid 2,000's. Then they gave me a proV1 to use. WOW! The difference was amazing! Not only did the ball sit and stick for me but my spin went up to mid 6,000's. I already use Prov's and now I know why. What a great ball....no wonder so many have such confidence in it.

Amazing to hear you got such a huge difference in the balls.
Hoe you get your driver back soon. I have a feeling we may yet get a few rounds in before winter fully hits us :)

Great story on the ball comparison Wendy! It is hard to explain to other golfers the importance of a good golf ball ... but, your launch monitor experience was a great way of doing just that!

Can't get any better than an actual 'convincer' like this, well done Wendy, this will help you have the confidence going into the greens with your wedges and can now attack at will and score lower.

Just think Wendy, most of your shots will have to be beyond the pin when you start spinning the ball back. Always adjustments in this game lol.
