917 F3 Specs

    Hi Mitch,

    I'm having trouble finding some specs on the 917 fairways. Is the stock D2 swingweight carried over from from the 915 fairways? I'm assuming a 917 F3 w/14g weight and stock length-43" Diamana White 80 is at D2. Can you confirm?

    Hi Travis,
    There are several different stock shaft offerings for new 917 Fairways resulting in different swing weights. These range anywhere from D1 through D4 based on the shaft choice.

    Assuming that the club spec you have mentioned above has a standard sized stock grip you would see a finished product at D4 with a 14 gram weight. We can get extremely close to the desired weight of D2 with a 10 gram weight (D1) or a 12 gram weight (D3).

    Hi Mitch, thanks for the info. I may actually move up to the 16g weight as I will probably be playing one of my aftermarket shafts that results in the club measuring 1/2" under standard length. It's a slightly heavier shaft than the D+ 80 but I'm guessing it will be around D1 now. I'll have it measured this weekend to be certain. Thank you once again.
