Hi everyone. I am looking for some feedback for some fun tracks to play in Palm Springs.

We are there for 5 days in March. The group I am heading down with is a very diverse group of golfers so finding the right mix of courses is going to be tricky.

There are a few serious golfers and some high handicappers that only get a few rounds in a year. We will most likely be playing one of the courses near the airport for our first round as we land at noon and are heading straight to the course. I was thinking Escena for that day to get us warmed up.

After that I am open to suggestions. I doubt the majority of the group will want to shell out top dollar for the higher end courses, although I would like to play PGA West if possible.

If you have any information that could help that would be great. Favorites, ones to avoid, must play would get me started in the right direction.

    Cheers

we were in Palm Springs in October. first timer and I will go back!

if you want to play by the airport, play Tahquitz Creek. the course was in great shape and fun to play. We ended up with a deal for $85 that got us breakfast, lunch, green fee with cart and two drinks at the clubhouse.

We also played PGA West Norman Course. back 9 bunkerville. Really wanted to play the Stadium course but it was in maintenance

Desert Willows was nice as was Terra Lago

We really enjoyed Indian Wells were a Big Break season was filled. Customer service was over the top. Not cheap to play, but well worthwhile

I was looking at Desert Willows and Terra Lago, clad to hear you liked them.
I have played Tahquitz before so most likely will avoid it and go for a new experience somewhere different.

We are staying 2 blocks from Indian Wells so that might have to be one we check out. Especially for the early morning round.

    I appreciate the feedback.

I have would recommend Desert Willow Golf Resort (Firecliff & Mountain View) & Indian Wells Golf Resort (Players & Celebrity).

Both locations have 2 very different courses which can be challenging depending on which tees you play. Afterword's lunch on the patio is a real treat after 18 or 36 holes of golf.

I have been going to both places for the last 5 years & its a great golfing experience all the way around.

    Enjoy!
