Snow like this?

That picture of Calgary is what I am talking about. Hopefully, we are still 6 weeks away from that. The only one who wants snow in my house is the dog.

I went out to my course yesterday expecting to play in the rain. I had the course to myself, and it did not rain! Played 18 holes, cart path only in just over 2. 3 hours.

My friend and I did that too but the course was really soggy. Took us 2.5 hours to play 18.

I went out yesterday at around 4:00 to hit some balls on the range, and was told I was the only person to swing a club all day ! There was a slight drizzle that did not stop since the early morning, but I just had to get out given the season is coming to an end.
My foursome went to play at Bond Head (South Course) today. We were fortunate that it did not rain as it was a bit windy and cool. I often thought we had some tough greens at our course, but holy crap.... I think they buried a herd of elephants under the greens at Bond Head :). I hit one shot to pin high left of the flag that came back 40 feet and right off the green. I had another put from about 15 feet right of the flag that turned hard left past the hole and ran twenty feet off the green and down into the first cut of rough ! Needless to say there were a lot of three and four putts amongst the group. However - for fall golf - we all had a great time and took what the course gave us with thanks. So nice to get out and get in as many rounds as we can before the season ends !!!!

Went out for a quick 9 holes yesterday at Woodington Lake and got to hit my new Ap3 with UST shafts. Do they ever feel great. Getting fitted next week for wedges.....

Darius, I have only played Bond Head once, and I would agree the greens are monsters. Maybe if I played the course on a semi regular basis I would know where not to hit it, but as I recall I shot 87, and had at least 4 three putts. The greens are large, and there are just certain places that you do not want to be.
