    Pine Knot just posted on their website that with the long range forecast they think they will be open by April 1st. One month to go!

    Yes - I had to shovel again this morning here in Barrie, but I am still holding out hope. The forecast is for things to warm up by the end of the week. Right now it is almost noon and still minus 11. Can't wait for things to warm up so I can get out and take my bag of Titleist clubs out to a range !

    We don't have a lot of snow in New Hamburg, but with rising temperatures we are also seeing lots of rain. Hopefully, there is no flooding, but not sorry to see the snow go. Since we can now play hockey indoors, really no reason for winter.

    Played my first round today. Course is dry and in good shape. Snow on the fairways of 2 lower holes. Otherwise, really dry. Tomorrow should be even better.

    I played a local course on Sunday as well. I managed to get my first birdie of 2019!!!!! The course I went to was pretty soggy but the greens were ok.

    I am so sore today but was well worth it.

    I actually played on Sunday as well. Much warmer. Chipped in for birdie on the 2nd hole. Course is dry. Greens are fast.

    I have not made a birdie yet, but I have also not made a bogey yet this year either !
    (Okay - I have not been out yet)
    Hoping to get out in early April. Will have to head south to do it, but I am sure it will be worth the drive.
