The club divider in my Titleist Golf bag which I bought in 2017 has worn down but I never really gave it much thought. The other day I had the driver out to hit my shot and the sun hit the shaft in just the right angle when I noticed the shaft itself was worn as well. It appears it has rubbed long enough on the worn section of the bag divider that it rubbed right through the first layer of the graphite shaft.
My question to Jason: How much is this weak point likely to affect the ability of the shaft to maintain it's proper performance ? Also - should I be concerned about the shaft breaking and actually being dangerous out on the course ?
Perhaps Titleist can bring back the long sock style of head cover that protects the shaft from this type of wear while in the bag...
Perhaps it is time I break down and have a hard look at the TS series !!!
