First of all - Congratulations to Justin Thomas for the great weekend play to take the win at the Players Championship. Another great Titleist ambassador steps up and shows what can be done when you combine skill and great equipment on the course. What impressed me more than the golf was a small gesture I saw after the last putt was holed. Here you have Lee Westwood who had the lead going into Sunday at Arnold Palmers tournament last week and lost by a stroke. Then he has the lead going into Sunday at the Players Championship and loses by one stroke. However - rather than getting upset and stomping off to the club house in disappointment, he and his fiancee caddie take the time to remove the flag from the pin on the 18th hole to pass on to Justin Thomas. Congratulations to both Justin and Lee. In my mind, they are both winners !

Now that was a great tournament to watch. The course seems really difficult from how I saw most of the players playing. Would love to visit it one day.

Jason... It was 25 years ago now since I played there, and they have done a lot of renovations so it is not exactly the same, but over all it is still the same course. I absolutely loved it and so did the people I played it with. If you do go, take the time to play the Valley course which is also on site. That is a real treat and a fantastic way to warm up the day before playing the Stadium course :) Gather your nerves for 17... There is no cut to worry about so If you can block out the water in your mind, it is a really easy 9 iron or wedge, but......

I agree Darius. Westwood was all smiles and showed no signs of disappointment or anger and to take the flag to give to Thomas was a real example of sportsmanship. I was hoping Lee would pull it out but he had a few bad holes on the way home. That being said, making that birdie on 18 was worth and extra $500,000 or so. It was a great tournament to watch.

I just saw the video of Helen Story handing Justin the flag and giving him a hug. Very classy indeed.

They need to stop asking Justin about his grandfather. They see how emotional it gets him and I think it's too soon to keep asking him about it and bringing back that painful memory.

Watched the tournament. Great theatre tournament coming down to the last three holes. Great win by JT.
  8. I truly enjoy watching JT play. And he plays with such style and grace its simply amazing. Very humble and honest as well. I am very glad a golfer with his character and style represents those qualities while playing Titleist products. He is very much like Titleist is and has been. As well watching him win gives me great pride to have a full Titleist bag as well. Its very reassuring and affirming to know I made the right choice and with the right talent, amazing achievements can be accomplished with Titleist at your side.

Lee Westwood has always been one of the classiest players on tour.

He walks away as a major winner in the public eye.
