I had a 917F that I traded in towards a TS3 and I absolutely love it. I didn't pick up yardage with it but dispersion was better. When I went to the Titleist fitting center to get fitted into the TSi3 driver, Nick gave me to TSi3 3 wood to compare my TS3 3 wood too. After a few hits he started telling me that the TSi3 3 wood was going too far lol. I was almost hitting it the same distance as the driver I was just fitted for. I'd say if you wanted to upgrade the 915F go with the TSi line. It is definitely a great improvement over what you have.

I too had the 915 Fairway Wood and went to see Nick for a fitting at Eagles Nest. What we found was that with the TSi2 3Wood I was actually getting the same distance as the 915. The beauty was that I was getting the full distance with carry and landing softly. That give me much more confidence that when I hit it well I can count on not blowing it over the green or having it roll into the bunker in front of the green as I used to. I am very pleased with the TSi metals. Of course - you need to figure out which loft you need with the new clubs, and also whether you want the TSi2 or TSi3 models... It is great to have choices :)

I currently have a 915f 3 wood, 15* turned up to A1 (lefty) and it too is my go to and goes a mile. Went to a Titleist Thursday with Derek Whipple and his new trianee Joe. Went through all the Tsi2/3/1 3 woods and some fairways woods. ALL of them even easier to hit and launch a mile!! I got more distance, better carry, better launch, and better land angle. I ended up settling on the TSi2, and trust me, book a fitting and hit them all you will not beleive the difference. All of them were so much easier to hit and all of them both off the tee and off the turf. You will not regret upgrading. Titleist is truly making golf easier

So James, My3wood and Hybrid finally arrived and I have been able to take them out on the course, And to answer ALL your questions, YES!! to everything. My old 915F was my go to as well, and the new one, now goes farther, higher, better angle of attack, lands soffter, better control and easier to hit with a slightlly larger face. Better draws and fades and so on and so farth. Same ball ProV1 and same golf course. You simply wont regret getting a new one.

Just curious, what specs (loft, lie surefit setting) did you end up with compared to 915 15deg at A1?

Derek Whipple who did the fitting gave me a 16.5 turned down to A4 as I had my 15* set to A1. so equal loft standard lie and the new TSi is simply superior in all ways. you will see it still has that bottom channel, but a deeper face and I am finding much more foregiveness and much more control for fade and draws. and again the distance is more for me as well. You wont regret it.

I played a 917f 15* until recently when my fitter encouraged me to try the new TSi2. I felt that I was not getting enough loft so based solely on his advice went lowered it to 16.5* and took out a loaner. First off, I am a big fan of Fujikura speeder shafts and used the same shaft that I had in my 917f. I am amazed at the difference in the distance and accuracy. Even at the new loft it is longer than my precious. The guys I play with cannot believe that it is not a driver. I got the height I was looking for, increased accuracy and distance I did not expect. I also have the new TSi3 driver but just cannot get my speed up with consistency, due to medical issues right now. Have a new shaft in it, yes, another Fujikura speeder, and when I strike it with authority it is straight like a bullet and long. I hope to get that medical issue corrected Monday. The TSi series or metals are the real deal and everyone should at least go check them out with a fitter. And remember height and low spin is your friend.

My driver is set at 10.75 and my spin is around 2200 and ball speed is 132. Did not mention I am or will be 75 on September 10. I may even move that loft to 11.50. My 917D was set at 11.25.
