If you're looking for some great insight on the Titleist club fitting methodology and process, you've come to the right place. PGA Professional Don Parsons, an Advanced Titleist Fitter and founder of The Studio at Twin Lakes (http://www.thestudioattwinlakes.com/), has been kind enough to share his fitting expertise in a recent video series.

We've posted the first two installments below for you to check out. The first video is a great overview of the fitting process. The second video provides more detail on determining the best irons for your game.

We'll continue to share more of Don's videos as they are released. Let us know what you think and as always, feel free to post any questions.

    Thanks, Don!

Yes Joe. I'll be calling you soon, I already have your number. Looking forward as well. I am planning to go down there in the latter part of April (3rd/ 4th week). Do you think we should schedule it already? Would a weekday or weekend be better?

These new clubs will be a prize to me from my wife. We made a deal of me not eating meat for 3 mos (Feb-April). She didn't think I'd last a week. But its been 5 weeks now, so she pretty much conceded already.

I am considering the  712 CB's, or a combination of CB/MB, the AP2's I can also give a try. And some new wedges to with them. My biggest concern will be the shaft choice though. I know you can help me out with regards to this one. I am still using the 690CB wl Dynamic Gold R300, I've had them since 2002. So its time for an upgrade!

    Talk to you soon. Thanks.

I own a 3-PW set of Titleist 822 oversize.  I'm in my first year of play, what are your thoughts on the 822 O.S model.

i remember those irons. good clubs! about the same time the 690cb came out. i did sell a couple of those irons back in 2002, then when i was still working for a Titleist distibutor in the Philippines.

i think its counter part now would be the AP1 irons. you will enjoy them Hector. good set of irons for starters. when you get better you will want to have the better player irons... guaranteed!

  7. Great videos, Mike. I'm sure that they'll be very helpful to those who may have any related questions.

Your going to enjoy the fitting process. I went to an independent firm in winter garden, FL in December. To physically see how the adjustment of lie, shaft flex and weight affects ball flight is a true work of engineering. Going to play today, i ended up with a 910D2 with a dymatch 60 g shaft, swing weight D1-D2, RAZR hawk 3 wood with dymatch 75 g shaft swing weight D2-D3, adams hybrids with dymatch 80g shaft swing weight D1-D2, and AP2 5 ir-9ir with KBS tour shafts swing weight D2-D3.

If anyone is on the fence about club fitting and considering it, i highly recommend going through the process.

    Hi James,

Here is the current spec sheet for the Vokey SM4 wedges. The column at the far right shows the Oil Can availability. You can also check out the wedge section here: http://www.titleist.com/golf-clubs/wedges/spin-milled-sm4.aspx or visit Vokey.com for more information. Hope this helps.

Are the Aldila Proto 75R iron shafts still available via Titleist? Aldila said I needed to check with you. If so what is the per shaft price?

    thanks,
