I currently have a 910 D3 with an Ahina 72 stiff shaft. My launch monitor shows a 9 degree launch and 2800+ spin rate. My club speed is 108-110 mph. I am looking to replace with a shaft the provides a higher launch and a lower spin rate. Should I choose the Fubuki Tour 63 or the Graphite Design Tour AD DI-6?

  2. Not sure if you have seen this but it is pretty helpful. http://media.titleist.com/images/titleist/pdfs/US/2012/flipbook/Custom_Catalog_Spring/index.html#/4/zoomed

First of all, change the setting on your driver to the highest loft and then see if it is still really low.

Your stats are very optimal, alhtough I prefer a 10 degree launch minimum. Ball speed is more important factor than club head speed. Assuming you hit it solid, you should be in the high 150s to low 160s mph. I wouldn't change shafts. I'd experiment with the Pro V1 X. The X launches a smidge higher with a smidge less spin. If it feels right around the greens... you are good to go. Another option to try is to go down one setting in loft and one flatter setting in lie from your current setting. For example, if A-1, go to C-1. One thing to provide perspective, PGAtour.com now tracks driving launch conditions. Thank you so much for your reply and advice.  I switched from Pro V1 to Pro V1X and changed to C-1 and  saw some improvement in launch.  You are correct, my ball speed is consistent at 164-168 mph.  I will take a look at the Zach clip.  Thanks again.
