Ordered my hybrids to the standard length of the iron they are replacing (1" under standard hybrid length) .. what is your take and what does this do to the lie of the hybrid
steve bedmond, OK
It may have an effective flatter lie, but if you want that can be adjusted by hosel setting. But, the trade off probably is that the correct length may help you to hit the ball much more solid.

George,
You may also want to have Tileist put the heavier gram weight in your hybrids if you want to maintain standard swingweight.
If not, your swingweight will be lighter. Won't effect ballflight but will be a feel issue.
Enjoy your new hybrids!
They are 910 hybrids that I ordered through the acushnet college program and don't know how I go about changing this... my coach did the order yesterday and I don't feel like bothering him for this
Also I must add I ordered them with the aldila 100hyb TX shaft

I have a 910F fairway that I had shortened to 41". I set the Surefit to A3 (+1.5 upright) and changed the grip to Winn Lite Dri Tac Oversize.
I also have a 910H 27* that is 38.5" and I have the Surefit at A2. It has a Winn Excel RF midsize.
If the club length is 1" shorter than stock, the swingweight decreases by 6 points if you don't change the grip. A Winn Lite Dri Tac is ~25g for oversize. Standard rubber grip for standard size is 52g. 5 grams per swingweight point. Excel RF is 43g for midsize.
