I believe Titleist will adjust loft for free, but you'll need to ship the clubs to Titleist (UK) if the policy is similar to the US. At least for the first year while on warranty. In the US where I am, the cost of shipping to the west coast is pretty close to the cost of a local shop doing the service. Your local pro should be able to advise you on what the costs would be to have Titleist do the service.

Hopefully you are talking about keeping 10-15 yards between 6 and 7 T-200 iron, and not so the T-200 7 iron is the same distance as the AP2 7 iron. They can only adjust +/- 2 degrees and you might need 3-4 degrees to dial back to the AP2 distance.

Not sure I follow your question, but I assume you are concerned with gapping the wedges with your iron set? Your AP2 PW was 46* and now your T200 is 43* - you have the option to get the 48* in the T200 as well. Not knowing your wedge set up it is tough to say, if your concern is on the other side and with a 21* 4-iron and looking at hybrids or fw wood options here is a great rule of thumb - if available get on a launch monitor and hit about 4 decent shots and see what your ball speed is, you should average 5mph ball speed between each club through the bag. A good loft gap in wedges is 4-6* so if you opt for the 48* in the T200, you could go with a 52 or 54 vokey, preferably gapped the same (48/54/60 or 48/52/56/60.) Hope that helps.

My gapping concern is with all irons from 48 gap wedge through to 6 iron then through to 21 and 23 816 hybrid’s giving me an average gap of approx 15 yards. I know that my Hybrids can be adjusted up or down, but the main concern is the lofts on my irons. No disrespect to our Americans friends but those of us in the uk don’t get the same facility, especially the free loft and lie check in the first year. So as my T200’s are less than a month old am I entitled to a free loft and lie check from my supplier ( Acushnet St Ives UK). I would appreciate someone from Titleist UK to confirm.

I would leave them as is. If your concern is whether or not the lofts are what they say they are Titleist has very tight standards and are typically within 1/100th of a degree. The lofts in the long/middle irons are 3 to 4 degrees gap, the middle/short are 4 to 5 degrees. Most average players can expect a 10 yard gap between clubs (2.5 yards per degree) the length of the club factors more in the longer clubs hence the 3 degree window. Short irons are 1/4" different in length, longer clubs 1/2" between clubs. If you decide to adjust/bend them you basically get one attempt at it - overdoing bending cast clubs can break them. Again, leave them as is for a true test, different days, conditions, elevation, temperature etc. If your "150 club" stays within 147-153 that is tour caliber distance variances.

Fortunately my gap test went very well giving a gap of approx 12 degrees right through the set. It’s interesting to hear that in the U.S you get a free loft and lie check for the first year, we don’t have that facility in the U.K.

I would not change anything less than a month with new clubs that have been fitted.

Richard - if your local pro or local clubs have the facility.. go for a gaping session where they can give you true distance data for each club. These sessions are usually around £20-£30. Do your new clubs have the exact shaft as your AP2 did as this can make as much of a difference as how strong lofts are. I would however, avoid bending the clubs to different degrees and work with the standard lofts the clubs are built with. Best of luck.
