Always found that the titleist fitting was so professional and the fitters come across as having a real passion to go that little bit extra to find you your best fit.
  3. We have had a Titleist fitting scheduled at our course that has been rained out twice. Hope it gets rescheduled soon.
  4. Really excited to hit up a fitting event later this summer when the new irons are out. Also looking for some advice on a new 60 since the new V grind didn't release in Lefty so want to find some other options that might fit me better.

Zack - I'm really looking forward to my virtual ball and club consultations. I can't wait to take the recommendations to a Titleist fitting event and see everything come to life outdoors. Awesome video and thanks for all Titleist does to help us achieve our best game possible!

I had my fitting last week and gotten the ok from Allan to share my thoughts on the lineup. A lot of these comments are based on some discussion I’ve seen on FB and other forums about the new irons.

Sorry for the length...The TLDR-T350 irons are AWESOME!

    Subjective result thoughts

T100-I nly hit 3 or 4 shots with them, had one very good one and it was great feeling and sounds like a tour club should sound. The mishits I felt them and I knew it

T150-, I hit a bit better than the T100, great solid feel and crisp sound. I Just don’t have enough swing speed to get out of this club what it’s designed to do. That’s OK, I knew that going in but the rep wanted me to experience it and the 100 so I can at least somewhat talk to customers about it.

So now on to the two models I knew I was going to be fit into one of.

Shafts, I hit in both were:
    • Recoil 75G (current shaft in my T300)
    • SteelFiber I80 (Current Shaft in my T200)
    • Nippon 950 GH
    • Tensei Red 65 G

T200-So much better than the 2021 model in every way in this aspect. Not click sounding at all, just a very solid feel and flight, (there will be a lot of info to come out upon the official release on the tech in this iron, and why it's so different than the 21)/ I suspect this will be one of the biggest sellers of the line. I hit these well overall. I was getting very close to the same ball speed from them that I’m getting from my current T300.

T350-My sweet spot. Like the T200 so far and above better than the T300. Let’s start with the Forged Face that improves the feel. Had one bad mishit and it didn't lose much distance at all and held the line very well. But the highlight of the day, The loud clacky sound of the 2021 model when you don't pure it is gone. Every shot was a nice solid clicking sound is the best way I can describe it. I I could have stayed on the range all day hitting this iron.

There will be a lot to come out about the tech story, in each iron upon the official launch. And it will make much more sense coming from those that know it inside out versus my comprehension of it.

    Trackman Data Recap:
We’re all family here, so I have no shame in sharing some of my pedestrian numbers. After all I’m a 64 riddled with injuries senior golfer.

My SS hovered around 73 to 75 on most irons, a touch higher with the Tensei 65g. My ball speed ranged from 92 on some not so solid hits to 103 on very solid strikes. Shot Apex was the highest with the 350 at 85 feet. T200 was 78 to 80. My best distances were with the Tensei Red, but only by 3 to 4 yards. Iron play is more than distance. The shot dispersion with the SteelFiber was so far and above the other three it wasn’t even a choice for me giving up 2 to 3 yards on some hit but not even every one.

In the end, we went back and forth on my make up. He truly felt I could go combo T200/350 with maybe the 5,6,7 in the 350 and 8-P in the T200. Fortunately, they had a T350 9 and PW for me to hit, and I just flushed them both and they felt and sounded great. I didn't need any more than that. Going with the T200 there would have just been a ego thing, I'm sure there will be days where I'm struggling to make solid contact with even a 9 iron, so why not make sure I have the most help possible.

So set make will be 5-P43 and 48 with SteelFiber I80 R Flex.

Robert, thanks for the detailed review. My fitting is set for Wednesday afternoon. I'm currently playing a combo set of 718 AP1 (5-7)/AP3 (8-GW). I'm looking forward to trying the new irons and upgrading from my nearly 6 year old irons. Like you, I'm anticipating the combo T200/T350 but will see what the numbers say.

And then comes the bigger issue - waiting for the new sticks to arrive!!!!

Steve, Thanks for the comment. How did the fitting go? Would love to hear all about it.

The good news is my clubs arrived earlier this week and I have 27 holes in with them. My 9 hole round was actually very good, and my 18 hole round had 11 good holes and 7 where the heat started to get to me. 96 degree heat index in MD today. But the irons performed great.

Not really one bad shot with them all day, just learning the distances of them, as it's a much different shaft than my T300.

The new head on the 350 is fantastic feeling.

I just had my fitting on Saturday. As always the Team Titleist Fitting Crew knocked it out of the park AGAIN! This is now my second fitting with the TT guys. I currently game T100s with the Project X 6.5. I have been playing them for about a year and a half. My thought going into this fitting was just to get my hands on the knew irons and see how I felt about them.

I was welcomed by my fitter Brandon who was very knowledgable about the new T series. We started by hitting the T100. I was pleased by the few that I hit good. Next was the T150. We tried a couple different shafts in it. I ended up loving those. Next was the T200. I hit those in the longer irons (4&5). I also loved the extra forgiveness from those. So I ended up doing a mixed set which will be new to me.

    Shafts: Project X 6.5, True Temper S300, X100.

Final thought: If you can go and get fit by a local Team Titleist Fitter then I would most definitely recommend it! Cheers!
