    Hi All,

After many great years of using my 983K 7.5 stiff I am considering going to a D2 or D3. I like a lower penetrating ball flight. I average 270-280 off the tee. How much can you deloft a D2 or D3 from its standard loft (i.e. 8.5, 9.5)? I struggle with the high lauch theory.

I am a new member. I have learned so much from everyone in the last month. I need to throw out a special mention to Cathy and Nick from Titleist and also Ryan Chrysler and Gator from the team. Thanks all.

By the way, I do have a 909 13 degree 3-wood and unadjusted 910 hybrids which are great.

You can get both the D2 and D3 in 8.5 degrees loft. With the SureFit hosel you can then reduce each another 0.75 degrees, so that each plays at 7.75 degrees of effective loft.

    Jim,

Thanks for the props! Glad to share our knowledge on fitting and Titleist equipment with the rest of the Titleist Team.  As to your question on delofting the 910 drivers, you can reduce loft by .75 degrees.   So a 8.5 loft can be reduced to 7.75 degrees.  Based on your feedback, I'm guessing you'll like the D3 head the best but still good idea to test them both (D2/D3) to find the right fit for your swing.  Best of Luck with the new 910 Driver!

Thanks to Jeremy and Gator for explaining D2 and D3 loft adjusting. I will have a D3 in my bag shortly. I am in the Chicago area so the courses are just starting to open.

By the way, I just wanted to mention to Gator, GO BEARS!

    Thanks again.
