    Good Morning,

    I've been fitted last friday.

I try AP2 with NS Pro 105T Regular - 2°flat. I have good sensation with them but I still have one problem.

I 've played with cally X22 Tour on Project X Flighted 5.0 for one year.

My irons are very (very) high and I lost distance. If my woods are also high, I lost less distance. I played with a scratch player yesterday and I can compare our distance.

The launch monitor was for my 6 iron :

110-115 mph ball speed (105 with my x22 Tour)

    7000 rpm spin rate

    160 yards carry (145 with x22 Tour)

But my fly was always very high !

Can I find a shat with lower flight with same weight and sensations ? I read that NS Pro 105T has high flight ? Is it True ?

Sorry, if my english is quite rude.

    Eugene

  2. Hi Eugene -

The NS Pro 105T is a higher launching shaft.  Based on your numbers you may want to look at the stiff flex option in the 105T first.

Your best bet is to find a local Titleist fitting partner in your area and work with them to determine which shaft is best suited for you.  Your spin is much too high for your ball speed, which is most likely causing the ball to balloon.  Getting your spin rate down closer to 6000 would provide better launch conditions.

    Hi Nick,

    Thank you for reply.

I am confused because I made three different fittings these last weeks :
    - With a RAZR Forged with shaft TT DG R300
    - With a MP 58 with shaft KBS
    - With a Titleist (AP 2) with shaft  NS Pro 105T regular
My lowest trajectories were obtained with MP58.
My preferences go to the sensation of AP2, the NS Pro shafts used 105T allowed me to win ball speed and comfort as they are lighter than the Project X Flighted 5.0 that I use on my x22 tour also carry about 15 more yards. But I'd like to find a somewhat lower trajectory clubs.

When fitting with Trackman, I noted the following values for my swing:

    6-iron:

    Speed: 85 mph
    21/22 ° Vertical Launch
    Spinrate: 6500
    Carry: 145 yards
I have a doubt about the spinrate measured at 7000 on my Titleist fitting.

    Driver:

    Speed: 91 mph
    11 ° Vertical Launch
    Spinrate: 3100
    Carry: 220 yards

I understand that you advise me on NS Pro 105T Stiff but the first NS Pro 970 can be an option?

Apparently, I have a positive angle of attack on my swing with the irons which handicaps my acrry and also provides high trajectories. Would you advise me to go for my pro to try to fix this problem before buying a new xet of irons ?

    Eugene
