    Hey Team Titleist,

So about 6 weeks back I got fitted for all new clubs (910D2 Kai'li Stiff, 910F Kai'li Stiff, 910H Kai'li Stiff, AP2's S300), everything but the wedges and putter, at my local Golf Galaxy (had I been smart I wouldn't have gone there and rather a demo day).  After not hitting my irons well at all, I went to a different fitter who added 1/2" to them and now I hit them as flush as can be.  Also, the new fitter changed my grips because the first guy incorrectly put on midsize ones saying that because I was tall I needed them.  Yeah I'm 6'2" but I have smallish hands and I'm much more consistent with normal grips.  Anyways, I've spent the last few weeks reserving judgement and getting used to the new clubs and have been hitting them as pure as can be but there is a major problem, I seem to have lost major distance.  My 150 club used to be a solid 9 iron and now I have to hit a 7.  My old 4 iron, which I could easily hit 210 is now my 190 club.  It's even happened with my woods, used to average around 275 with driver and now I barely get 260 after swinging out of my shoes.  With the irons, the ball goes on a high trajectory but seems to just die short and with the driver I simply hit it too high, even with the low SureFit setting.  Could I have been fit with the wrong shafts or is something funky going on here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Mathew

you should probably go back to whoever fit you and say "look, im not hitting these as far as my old ones, i think you fit me improperly" or something like that
