Fitting in Atlanta Ga?

    Just wondering if any of you guys know of a good place to get fitted in the Johns Creek area.  I'm hesitant to go to PGA Superstore or Golfsmith, Other than getting into the Atlanta Athletic Club...  Any good professional fitters worth anything up here?  Thanks.

    I'm in the same boat. I have been fitted by club pros in the past and have received different opinions. What about "fitting days?". Or would advanced fitting be a better choice?

    Hey Cathi,  I have tried to reach Craig, sure he is very busy.  I am set up for a fitting day this Friday at a club about an hour or so away.  They gave me a 35 minute time frame.  I am not sure this is what I want.  I play all titleist equipment and need help with changes and I would like to demo the CB's.  I have been fitted by club pros in the past and they do a fair job.  The numbers have varied between pros.  I really want this done correctly this time.  I do not feel this is the best option, what is your opinion?

    I sent your note on to our rep to see if his Tech Rep is on vacation and if he can make another suggestion.  We do have a regional fitting center at Sea Island, GA and they have two dedicated fitters in Craig Allen and Curtis Leggett.  They have a very large expanded matrix of heads and 300+ fitting shafts.  I know that is not as close to you, but it may be worth the drive.  Their phone number is;  (912) 638-5119.

    Hey Cathi, I cannot thank you enough for the recommendation. My experience at the Sea Island Learning Center was incredible. The facility and staff were second to none. My fitting was scheduled with Mr. Craig Allan. Craig is very professional and knowledgeable. Craig took me through the process with patience and did not hesitate to answer all my questions. I never felt hurried or pressured. We were able to identify problems with my irons, woods and wedges. Never any pressure to buy new clubs. Craig identified lie issues on my AP2's and made the adjustment at his facility. Driver comparisons with various shafts. Wedges and the various effects of bounce. All while using proV1x golf balls on the range. We also identified the best ball fit based on Trackman results. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is I will always return to the learning center for any additional fittings. Craig made the experience of club fitting amazing. Also, he said I could contact him anytime with questions or concerns. I received a Trackman print out of my results and he provided a detailed fitting analysis with all the specs and recommendations.     I'm glad you enjoyed the experience! and I will pass your note on to Craig.  The Learning Center at Sea Island is one of five regional fitting centers that we have around the country and both Craig and Curtis are two of our best fitters!

    Just curious how much $$$ did you pay for your 2 hour session with Craig?  I think I may be going out that way to get my clubs adjusted.

    I am interested in that as well. I paid $400.00 for fitting and swing analysis at the TM Performance Center at Reynolds Plantation. .I am wanting to change over to Titleist but just plain worried about getting fitted properly.
