I have a 910d3 8.5 degree with a diamana x-stiff 72. I bought this club from a local golf shop in May. The dealer told me to put my setting on D-1 which is -.75 loft standard lie. I have had no consistency with this drive since I bought it. I have finally decided I need to change the setting to something different. Driver has always been one of my best clubs, so this is really hurting my golf game. I am a consistent under 80 golfer so I strike the ball pretty good. I have been hitting what I call a pull hook with this driver with an occasional (1 out of 10-12) high fade(good drive). A high fade is what I have played for many years and that is what I play with all my irons. My swing speed is 115-120. If anyone has any suggestions or comments or questions please help. Keep in mind that I am in Mississippi. Going to get on a fitting machine is not really an immediate option.

I would experiment with B-1 and C-1 settings.  Let us know!

Im going to go try that later this afternoon. Not sure how many balls I will be able to hit in this ridiculous heat, but I should be able to hit enough to see if that works better. It can't be worse. I will post in the morning. Thanks

Hi Wally,  I spoke with our Mississippi and he suggested going to Mike Hoelzer at Castlewoods CC in Brandon, MS.  Mike's number is (601) 992.1942.   Mike is both a good fitter and a good instructor.

If you need launch numbers, he suggested going to Ridgeland to either the Edwin Watts or Stevens Golf Shop.

As crazy as this sounds I ran into Mike Hoelzer this morning. Castlewoods is not where I am a member, but it is really close to my house so I went out there to hit balls early this morning. I knew he was the pro there so I just asked him if he knew anything about the the loft and lie of the driver. He said yes and helped me for like 5 minutes. My driver was originally set on D-1. The last few days I was trying A-1 and B-1. Mr. Hoelzer moved it to D3 which is significantly different than what I was originally hitting. It was obvious from the first few balls I hit that this setting was closer to where I needed to be. I am going to hit the driver some this weekend, then go get a lesson or two from Mike next week. He said the setting I originally had my driver set on gave me no chance of being consistent with my swing. Thanks for your help with this!

Very nice!  Nothing better than a Titleist Pro and results!
