Guys,
Quick question, I bought a few dozen Titleist Pro V1 balls from Hong Kong. How can I tell they are real? I know there are a lot of counterfeits out there, especially coming from that region.
Thanks,

Hi Xi L,
Thanks for the post. The best way to ensure you are always buying authentic Titleist equipment is to always buy from an authorized Titleist golf shop.
Our products are primarily sold at golf courses, off course golf specialty shops and certain sporting goods stores.
In addition, authorized Titleist accounts are not permitted to sell new Titleist products on Internet auction websites. When you make purchases in these unauthorized locations, there is a much greater chance that the products offered are counterfeit.
Here is a link to our brand protection page that also has a lot of other tips and information on how to spot a fake and what you can do.

Hope this helps.

If you paid (much) less than $39.99 US a dozen including shipping for a current model ProV, the chances go up again. No one needs to dump Titleist balls when a new model comes out. Long story short, the local munis did not renew the PGAs, and all equipment (the PGA was the distributor) EXCEPT Titleist balls were discounted. Only Titleist offered 100% returns.
