I'm wondering if Titleist has ever attempted to develop a golf ball cover that prevents mud from sticking to it. I play a course that is often wet and mud balls are common. My group allows lift, clean, and place as a normal procedure, but I got to thinking that a perfect ball would be one that repels mud. I'm sure the touring pros would love it. So is it possible to make ball with proper impact and aerodynamic properties that also repels mud? Are any of the Titleist ball covers more resistant to mud than others?
