  1. Hi Everyone,

i have lots of Titleist balls and I would like to sort them by age.  Can you match print styles to vintage?

    Can this be done?

    Thanks,  Bob

Not 100% sure but the alignment line I have always found helpful in at least coming close. Then of course the 392 and balata vintages come into play as well but even those are printed on what would be the alignment area of the ball.

  3. Thanks.  The alignment lines change in color and design too as does the name color or print font.  Maybe the Tileist guys can give more precise age specifications?

There are generational differences in the markings on the ball so you should be able to get within a year or 2 of the actual age.

  5. Yes, there is a website that shows pictures of all versions of the Pro V1. (I looked it up when I was doing exactly what you are--sorting mine by age). If you Google "identifying ProV1s by year" you should find it right away.

The arrows <----.---->  dots and dashes determine the year of the ball and change after every two years..  I have balls separated from 2006 to the present of Titleist.

There's also a somewhat noticeable difference between the older ProV1s and the newer once, especially when it comes to durability.
