Personal best, first round using the new Prov1x

    My first time playing a round with the new Prov1x I shot even par 72. I had been stuck on 73 for two years and have had a handful of 73's and 74's. After spending a lot of time on my short game in the last few months, and finally switching to the new ball I achieved my goal of par which I committed to 5 years ago when I picked up the game. Thanks Titleist. New goal- post some red numbers.

    Congratulations! It is always nice when you are able to achieve a goal you have set on the golf course. I have a feeling that you will see many more 72's in your future now that you have broken the seal. What is your new goal?

    After being on cloud 9 for a few days, and checking back into reality with a 79 this weekend haha, my next goal is to try and get my average number of putts per round down. Putting in time on the chipping green, in the bunkers and time with the putter in my hands should get me into the red numbers. thanks for the reply.

    Congratulations. I don't think most people realize how good 72 is, and what a mental challenge it can be. And it is WORLDS away from 73 and 74......

    congratulations -- next spring when Titleist has there buy 3 get 1 free (dozen) you will have to purchase and get then with your new personalized number --- 72  or maybe by then the red number you are now shooting for.

    So you shot scratch going from brand new player in five years? Thats pretty damn good. Did you take any lessons? I shoot in the 90's what should I work on the most? Short Game?
