I've been playing the Trusoft since it came out and find it to suit my game pretty good for the most part. My question is since the NXT Tour S is also a 2 piece ball does it really perform any differently than the Trusoft? I'm a 7hdcp and play the optic yellow because it's easier to see, but at times I'd like a little more spin around the greens. Since it doesn't appear we'll ever see a Yellow Pro V1x, I'm just wondering how the NXT compares with the Trusoft?

I haven't tried the TruSoft, so I can't compare the two balls. I have played the Tour S and would say it's a pretty good all around ball. It' fairly long off the driver and has decent spin (not great) for a 2-piece ball. Around the green it also performs pretty good (checks okay on short pitches and on chips, but you still get some run-out). It also putts well (feels soft and rolls true). The best way to find out if the Tour S performs differently than the TruSoft, is to get a sleeve of both and try them on the course.

Thanks Barry, I actually did just that today. Took 3 Sleeves to the course. Trusoft, NXT Tour S(14 model) and the new B330rx. Played 6 holes with each ball and experienced similar results with all three. The Bridgestone IS a very nice ball around the greens but since I seemed to get a little more distance on all shots with the Trusoft and reliable short game results I can't justify switching. At $21 dozen the Trusoft is a formidable ball against both of these.
