What's up Team , I got home on Tuesday and what do I see a box from Acushnet. HALLELUJAH!!! Of course my wife was giving me the ole stink eye for ordering something else hahaha ! No worries.

Anyway results are in , I received two sleeves /squares & triangles.

They both seemed to fly about the same , the only difference was on full approach shots and chips etc

    (1) The SQUARE ball spun alot on wedge shots , I backed up 4 sandwedge shots. TO MY SURPRISE!!

    (2) The TRIANGLE ball released a little everytime .

    (3) Mid ball flight off the tee, thats what I'm used to with my woods and hybrids. (I don't play a Driver right now) although my 3wood yardage is 270ish

    (4) ball covers very durable no nicks or cuts. Nice compression and feel..

Weather was glorious here in VEGAS ,70s and calm

I played a front nine 38, was four over on the 16th tee box. THEN CHOKED LIKE A DOG , going 8over on the last three holes losing 3 of those prototype balls. 84 Yikes!!!!! I was still in the $$$$ so its all good. Lost my concentration ,Still learning how to finish the round...

    thanx......Madgolfer

I would say that we have been playing a softer version of the NXT...
  5. Wouldn't mind some prototypes this way, in the UK. really looking to nail down which ball I am going to play all the time, as it's a bit of mix up at the moment!

I loved the Square Ball. It had so much feel to it and spun like crazy. I ripped a 7 iron out of the rough beside the green back onto the green with my first shot. After that I was hooked. I still have a couple triangles left but don't love them like I did the squares. I think I shot 38 38 76 with the square ball and 79 with the triangle.

I agree about the square, really checked nicely on the greens

I found the triangle flew further and higher. The square defenantly held on approach even more spin than the triangle. They were both about the same around the green and putting. I hit the triangle much better with my driver than the square.
    hope it helps

    todo
