No, it has a pure surlyn cover so it will spin the least. However the Velocity vs. DT have different feels. The DT is a softer feeling ball like the ProV1, while the Velocity has a firmer feel. The speed of your swing does not impact the spin in the manner you asked it.

I agree with Chris. The trusofts are going to spin less than prov1s with all clubs but slightly more than a velocity no matter what the swing speed. Are you having trouble with side spin (tilt/slice/hook) or are you looking for a spin worthy ball around the greens and with short irons?
I really like the trusoft and the velocity, they have great distance and feel for a mid level balls. With 2016 models, you really can't go wrong with any Titleist ball they are all great performers.
