This weekend was my Member Member tournament. The first day is a modified alternate shot. My partner plays a TM ball, so there were times I had to use it. The TM ball felt like a marshmallow, and the spin was crazy inconsistent. Sometimes it backed up way too much, and other times it didn't spin at all. Standing over it, I had no idea what the ball would do (assuming I hit it well).

About 6 holes in I asked him if he'd be willing to play with the ProV too. He didn't think the ball mattered that much so he took a sleeve from my bag and switched. Immediately we started sticking shots close, and my wedge game was back on point. I have to say that I've never been so happy to put my ProV back in play. Not having the confidence your ball will react the way you want it to is a terrible feeling... Next year I'll be sure we start the round with nothing but V's.

Couldn't agree more with ya Josh. I'll be honest, I've tried other golf balls (CWY, TM, the company that doesn't make golf equipment anymore and a few others which I'm too embarrassed to name) and NOTHING compares to ProVs.

My only problem is I really can't decide between ProV1 or ProV1x...

Hope you and ya partner had a good weekend...

It's all about trust! If you're not positive how the ball is going to react every time, it's hard to really commit to the shot.

You need to work on your partner to get him to convert to Titleist balls permanently.

I agree 100% Titleist all the way.
