Might be a bad assumption on our part that a widespread prototype testing will occur. The recent release of the TruFeel ball happened with very little public testing and the Velocity and Tour Soft may just see a packaging update to round out the box graphics for the entire line. Next significant model update will be 2021 but if Titleist doesn't feel the ProV1/ProV1x has a significant characteristic change, they may not produce the labeled "proto" to the extent they did last year.

Announced yesterday on My Golf Spy the EXP-01 will be available to buy in North America on limited release (i.e. you have to buy them @ $39.99) or you may receive these in the white box??

The "lottery" is about this time. Your odds vary based on your profile preferred ball. The replacement/test/prototype balls now would be for Tour Soft and Velocity. True Feel is on a different cycle and is now available. The urethane balls aren't due until next cycle, unless the AVX gets replaced prior to the Pro-V's.

The EXP is now available for purchase on the website- certainly fits into proto category. Intrigued is an understatement!!

Having seen the latest balls released I do like the alignment marks, would be good to see them on AVX, or ProV1.

I have been selected a couple times. Nothing like seeing that white box in the mailbox! I'm always appreciative to get the opportunity should it arise.

Pretty frustrating to see the "Titleist Experimental EXP∙01 golf ball" advertised on Golfweek before we see it here first....

Why are we on here if it's not to hear/experience the newest Titleist stuff.....

Interestingly enough, they had us hit some unmarked balls on the range in Kohler during the TTI and were measuring info on TrackMan but no giveaways or clues as to which ball it was. Might have been this EXP01.

What new version? Talked to the rep and understand the AVX is staying the same.

Placed my order here on line. Looking forward to seeing what the EXP 01 is all about.
