    Recently had a ball fitting at Woodsome Hall GC. Really interesting process and for a lot out of it. Switched me from Pro V1x to Pro V1 and have me 9 yards extra carry with a wedge! This was down to reducing the spin I get with the 1x. I’m quite a spinny player and can get robbed of a few yards

    I was given some yellow Pro V1’s to try and I love them. Wasn’t over enamoured about using the yellow ones but I’m now a convert! One slight issue I found on opening a sleeve that one of them balls has a defect and almost has an inverted dimple or it’s one nipple! Anyone seen this before and will it affect the flight of the ball if I use it? It’s difficult to see in the picture as I was trying to get a close up of it

    I think its a problem if you're finding the defect on a majority of the dozen and if that does happen, Im sure Titleist would take care of it. And its a golf ball, soon to be abused, dunked, lost in canyon or retired.. Hit em well!

    I’m really not too bothered but wondered if the fault would affect the flight.
    Knowing my luck and current game it won’t last too long anyway!

    Just completed the virtual ball fitting with Jack Sparling and it was a great experience. Been a long time ProV1x user but during our conversation, Jack recommenced the left dash Pro V1 and is sending some samples. The session was great and it was nice to talk with someone so knowledgeable. Looking forward to trying the left dash and maybe finding a new favorite ball!

    Also recently did an online fitting with Sparling, it was a great experience.

    I have been using the Prov X for a while now to some success until I spoke with Jack and he recommended ProV which was exactly what I wanted in flight especially in windy conditions. It was night and day

    When I find something like this, I just get out the ol' X-acto knife and carve it down to level with the dimples & ridges. If the white spot bothers you, just take a bright yellow sharpie and color it again! As someone else said, it's a golf ball and will soon be lost, scuffed or taken out of play for some other reason!
