Golf Ball Help (AVX vs. Pro V1)

    I’m retired and have moved to the Low Country of South Carolina just west of Hilton Head. I usually play our course from the combo tees, which is approximately 6,000 yards in length. I’ve been using the Pro V1x, and have experimented with the AVX recently. My average score is 82, but it appears that if I hit a ball off center with the Pro V1, it seems to travel quite a bit shorter, but not with the AVX. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Everyone is a bit different. Trying all three balls is a good way to go about it. Then decide which performance characteristics are most important to you and your game. Some people are most interested in distance, others care more about feel, and others about trajectory and spin. Great that we all have several options to choose from. Enjoy!
