I am looking to purchase these irons, used.  But before I do, looking to get some feedback from players with these irons.  So if you own them or know someone who players with them, please let me know how you feel.  Thanks!

    Jason,

I previously owned this set.  I loved them, especially since I could get a blended set.  As I play less and less, I never really thought I would be able to play an MB, but after hitting the 712 MBs, I think I will be transitioning more in that direction.  The ZB were my launching pad to playing a more workable iron.

    Cameron,

Thanks for the info, I was a single digit handicaper two years ago, got married and am just getting back into the game I love.  Even though I am hoping to win the giveaway haha, I gotta do my research in case I have to buy my own.  But are you familiar of anyone selling a set, perhaps 1" over and 2* up?  Haha, let me know.

I play the 735.cm's which are a blended set, similar to the ZB's.  I would love to upgrade to the ZB's, but cannot part with the 735's.  I think they give you the best of all worlds - easier lift with the lower degrees and workability with the higher degrees.  I would not hesitate to get the ZB's with your favorite shafts.

  5. I got the Z blends the moment they were available, and have never looked back. The feel and performance is superb. I'm a 5 handicap and these work really great for me. The 3, 4, 5 iron have just enough of a cavity to be a bit forgiving, and the rest of them are pretty much blades. I love 'em, and havent looked at anything else since.

Thanks for the feedback, I played the 735 CMs, but feel I'm ready for the true blade on my short irons.  Thanks a lot for your feedback!

  7. Jason,Good luck with them. I have the project x 5.5 "Flighted". The Flighted option keeps the ball flight on short irons down and helps the long irons get higher. Love this setup. Look into it.

I have this set but they are a lot better with the project x shafts than the standard shaft.

I absolutely agree, I am hoping to find a set with Project X 6.0s already installed, only problem is, I need 1" over two haha, so that'll be rough.  Thanks for the feedback!
