  1. As of last night I am the proud owner of a 910D2 driver. It is 9.5 loft.  I tend to fade or slice the ball often. Which setting would you recommend I try? Right now I am leaning toward D3.  I have a 108 MPH swing speed and I am trying to eliminate side spin.  Also should I try the same setting on all my 910H hybrids?  I can now proudly say every club in my bag is Titleist.

    Thanks for any replies

The setting adjustments do not necessarily influence shot shape.  However, to eliminate side spin, I'd recommend a move to D-1.  This lowers the loft which will have the greatest influence on spin.

The settings don't necessarily transfer to other metals and hybrids in the bag. Each club has it's own unique roll and requires particular adjustments.

    Let us know!

  3. Yesterday I played the D3 and the jury is deliberating. Today I will try your suggestion of D1 for the lower loft and will report back how it goes. Thank you for the input.

On another note, the 910H 21 and 24 performed flawlessly

Very nice. Of course they perform... they are Titleist. :)

    Ryan,

Wouldn't raising the loft have the greatest impact on reducing slice spin? i.e. reason why higher lofted clubs is more difficult to slice?

Since we are just talking in general, less loft creates less spin overall. If we did increase loft... lets say we go to C-4, he would need to change some swing fundamentals to bring the spin down. If we were practicing, it might be a fun practice aid. But when keeping the swing the same, change the implement and away we go.

Agreed. I have the D3 and the D1 setting is my go to setting when I want to hit it straight.
