  1. Looking for some input to my thoughts on switching from my old 905S to a newer 910.

First know I am a devout Titleist player everything in my bag is Titleist, simply the best there is. I play to a 9hcp.

The nearest golf store is over an hour drive from where I live so driving up to and then jumping all around Columbus Ohio for fittings is really problematic.

I have played a 905S 9.5 Speeder X-Stiff for the past 5 - 6 years. It is odd but no one who tries it can really hit it like I do, along those lines I have demoed a few other drivers over the past couple years only to end up with this back in the bag.

    Demos include 905R, Titleist 907, G15, Launcher 400, RBZ.

The dilema is that I have had a couple shouder repairs and the X-Stiff is getting to be a bit much after the first 9 holes

Also I purchased a 910 21* Hybrid and am amazed at this club. The adjustment flexibilty has me dialed in to no be able to hit it bad if I tried, that technology got me thinking about the 910 Driver. I did hit the 910 in an indoor simulator (Golf Galaxy) and the fitting process was rushed coming away with the fitter stating "I'd keep the 905 if I were you the 910 is not 400.00 worth of "better".

Now I have a few friends that play the 910 2 and 3 and they think the fitting was bogus because I have hit theirs but with mixed results, we don"t have time to try all of the adjustments while out on the course.

So in the end I am wanting to get some thoughts as to why I may hit this 905 X-stiff so darn staright when no one else can and then mainly what would be the closet 910 driver that is comparable to the 905S?

I haven't dove into face angles lie angle swing weigth etc because I simply don't have time, maybe there is someone out her who can help out.

    Thanks
