I'm having another one of those funks of hitting my hybrids left and this time I'm seriously considering moving away from them all together.  I've always been intrigued by the 712U, but wonder if my swing speed (~98 with driver) would be enough to maximize the performance of these clubs.  The Titleist website promotes the 712U for high speed players - I know I have a mortal swing speed, but am I close enough to warrant a look at these clubs?

I currently play 712 AP2s 5 - PW, a 913H 24* and a 910H 19*.  I hit the 5 iron around 175, with plenty of height, whereas I seem to hit the hybrids with more of a piercing flight (funny, I know).  I'd like to swap out the 24* and wonder if the 712U 4 iron would work out well for me for shots around 185 - 190 yards.  

I know a proper fitting is the best bet, but now that winter is settling in, some of those facilities are closed.  So what do you think, should I give it a look?  Or should I just scout out an AP2 4 iron?
