    Hello,

I currently have the AP1 irons and do not seem to get ball flight consistancy/accuracy in my game.  I do not use my irons too often during a round but I use my Vokey wedges alot.  My question is, does Titleist make irons with the same feel and weight as the Vokey wedges?  I have not played with any other Titleist irons as all my other sets were different brands (Splding, TA, TM).  Any advice is appreciated.  Thank You.  Brian

One is that the Vokey wedges from 50* and higher are swingweight D5.   The 46 and 48 are D3. Irons are D2.

Have your lie angles checked and adjusted on your AP1s.

Your 9 and PW should be hitting OK given they are the same lie angle as the 48 vokey.  I'm super consistent with my 9 and PW.

My golf bag is different than most.     One is I carry 21 and 25 fairways,  910H 27* (B3) and 7-34 hybrid.   I can hit an AP1 7 iron 150 and the 8 140 with a good shot  but the distance varies by 15 yards and I can hit pinpoint distance with the 34* hybrid (my 8 iron shot is to choke down 1/2").  I probably couldn't break 100 with the standard golf bag but I shoot in the mid 80s with my so-called "senior bag" (I have a 13*driver and can still hit it over 250 occasionally).

I didn't think of having my irons checked. That is a good idea though. Thank you very much.

Is there enough of a difference between the ap1 710 and 714?
