Michael w, glad to hear that you like yours.  I agree that Titleist has nailed it this year.  I believe there will be a lot of converts this year.  What shaft did you get?  I changed from a 910D3 9.5 to a 915D2 9.5 and am very happy.  I went for the new Aldila Rogue 70 stiff.  What an awesome shaft.   I have let a few non-titleist players hit mine and all they can say is; WOW......

chuck ..same shaft thati had in the 913 and the 910 before it..its the fujikura rombax 5x07 r flex..i have tried dozens of shafts and none canperform to my liking like this one..i have 1 backup in the event i break this one cause im not sure if fujikura still makes this shaft..

  4. Forget the Fujikuru shaft.I have used a Fujikuru Rombax x stiff and switched to the new Fubuki J x stiff. What a brilliant shaft. It is counterbalanced and bloody sweet.I'm getting an extra, just in case.I've used Fujikuru Rombax & Speeder shafts...which frankly cost more but I haven't hit better drives throughout the whole rnd, ever before. Now,my Son uses the Kuro Kage Tini in another brand head.(starts w N ends w e)but he's 6'5"no body fat and 27 yrs my junior. But,I'm not that far behind..thanks to this new shaft.Cheers

I may end up with one, just hope it is lower spin than the 910/913.  They have always felt great, just wanted less spin with prior versions so hopefully this one does the trick

I have the 915 D3 10.5 Bassara stiff shaft and have compared it against the 915D2 with same shaft. I definitely get lower spin and more total distance with the D3; however, I have noticed a significant difference in "sound" between the clubs.  The D2 is much more muted and softer feeling whereas the D3 is very loud and harder feeling. Anyone experience that? And if so is there a known reason? Both great drivers! Just curious.

  7. I've had the 910 - 913- and purchased the 915 in November. I hit a 8.5 degree d3 915. It's by far the longest and of them. There's less spin than the 913. I'm using the same diamana Khalil 70 x that was in 913 d3 8.5 degree. Longer and the ball has a straighter and lil lower ball flight. I could move the 913 from right to left pretty well. That's my natural ball flight. With the 915 it's straighter. I've obviously made an impression because, my regular playing partners have converted over and they were hitting taylor made R1 drivers, though I think they should've purchased the d2 version.

Just picked up my first Titleist driver, 915d3 -10.5.  Also, the first adjustable club I ever owned. I want to understand fitting guide better.  It is preset at A-1. Is there a method out there you guys might use to find the right setting? I am thinking  starting at C2 because I would like a little more draw and maybe a little less loft.  Am I reading chart correctly?   Thanks, it sure is a sweet club.

Yes, You are reading the chart right for what you want Dennis. C2 should give you less loft, with more draw. Best thing I could suggest is to spend some time at the range, and try different settings until you find just what your looking for. THEN LEAVE IT ALONE. I say this because it is sometimes tempting to think, "well, just a little more of this or that" and soon you've got it way off from what you wanted.

Norris:  Great advice.  One of my playing buddies is in that rut with his Titleist purchase.  Cannot decide which setting he needs and will not go to the driving range to dial it in.  Tries to figure it out during our matches.  No sympathy here.  I bought new clubs at fitting and dialed them in there and left them alone and am getting the WOW factor.  These Titleist guys know what they are doing.

Thanks, have just started that process.  Also, thanks for the leave it alone tip.  Funny, I do tend to overthink my golf, how'd ya know.  So far standard setup and C2 seem to work fine for me.  Once I figure out which is running out more I'll have my answer. Thanks again. I do like the stick.

That is how I have my 915 D2 set its perfect!! Love it! Had an older 983 9.5 now with the 10.5 higher ball flight and longer distances.

I played yesterday for the first time with it (was above 50 degrees in ohio), I can't express how awesome the 913 D3 is. I was hitting the ball as far as I was in August. It was cold and I am out of shape, the driver was doing all the work! Hands down best driver I have ever hit. Good Work Titleist!

  14. I just got my new 915D3 yesterday. It was snowing today, so I booked a trip to Vegas in 2 weeks. I made my girlfriend sleep on the couch, so I could be next to my new driver!!! It is a 7.5 degree loft with a Proforce V2 shaft X flex 96 grams. When I picked it up, I thought I was holding a tree trunk. I got fit at the perfomrmance van, and was killing it. They say the shaft is "exotic" and they had to get it from overseas. $100.00 up-grade, but it is worth it!!! I have not even hit it yet, but I love it. I will let you know how she does!!

I have had my 915 9.5 D2 with a 46" Rogue silver 60 gram shaft for two weeks now. I'm getting summer distance in 45 degree N. Alabama. Awesome club! That should be close to 30 yards when the weather warms. Titleist has hit it out of the park with this one and I thought the 913 D2 was great. It is also more forgiving. The elliptical sweet spot lets me hit it straight and just as far even if I miss the center. The 3W is longer too.

Thanks again guys.  Was able to actually play yesterday up here on LI.  First round with the 915d3. All I can say is wow!  I'm 54 now and was feeling a little down after last season thinking age is starting to creep in on my distances.  Boy did it feel good to put that ball out there again.  Of course I know I wont be as long as I was years ago, but yesterday was more than respectable and in the fairways.  I'll take that any day. Really like this club. Nice Job Titleist!!

I've been playing with my 8.5 degree 910 D3 with Diamana 'ahina 72 with S flex, what I thought was the best driver I have ever played with, until I got my 915 D3 - thanks to Team Titleist's Rich Veitch and their media team.  Jim at Titieist put me through a completing fitting process for 915 D driver, which I strongly recommend if you are ever serious about finding a driver that's going to improve your game, and after observing my ball flight, speed, rotation and launch angle, he came up with my new 915 D3, 8.5 degree with Aldila RIP Alpha 60 with S shaft.  HE HIT IT ON THE MONEY!!!  I took it straight from the box to my first tee yesterday, no driving range needed.  My first ever hit with this custom fitted driver left my club face with an awesome thud, straight down the fairway like an arrow with lower than my usual trajectory which we aimed for.  I knew I had to hit it straight because it was 6:30 am at the Navy Golf Course,  minutes before sunrise, and that's the confidence this club gives you.  Distance without compromise - I am a true believer!

Just got my new 915 D3 on 12/23/14 and can't wait to try it out. Fitted at the PGA Super Store in Chicago and hit so many balls that I pulled a muscle trailing this and many others for over an hour. I knew I wanted the Titleist D3 but fitter had me try png, cally, Cbra also. I stayed with Titleist as I also went back to Titleist 714 AP1 in the summer of 2014. By far and away Titleist blows away all competitors.Keep up the great work!
